Morgan loses job as Education Secretary
Nicky Morgan has confirmed that she has lost her position as Education Secretary and Minister for Women and Equalities.

In a tweet, Morgan said: ‘Disappointed not to be continuing as Education Secretary & Min for Women & Equalities - two wonderful roles it's been a privilege to hold’
The move comes as new Prime Minister Theresa may takes over from outgoing David Cameron. In her first day in the role, May has made swift changes to her cabinet, with former Education Secretary Michael Gove also losing his position as Justice Secretary.
Morgan backed Gove’s campaign for Conservative Party leader when he was running against May, which likely played a part in her dismissal.
