£3.6m coding campaign supported by tech companies
The announcement is expected to be made by Education Secretary Nicky Morgan at the BETT Show this week.
Mrs Morgan will announce a series of projects involving schools, universities and businesses to encourage the computing curriculum.
The Department for Education has offered £3.6m in matched funding to develop computing lessons.
Much of this funding has already been announced and allocated to larger schemes which are already running - and the announcement this week will add some extra projects to enhance the campaign.
